Broadbeach Cultural Centre is a City of Gold Coast community venue within the Broadbeach Cultural Precinct, just behind Pacific Fair Shopping Centre at the corner of Hooker and Sunshine Boulevards in Mermaid Waters. The wider precinct brings together a cultural centre, community space, library and shared outdoor meeting areas, giving the venue a distinctly community-focused role on the Gold Coast.
The centre is designed for activities and events rather than a fixed gallery programme. Its hireable spaces include a 400-seat auditorium with a stage and backstage change rooms, a multipurpose hall, activity room, meeting rooms and a dance studio with sprung floors. Facilities listed by the City include audio-visual equipment, internet access, a kitchen and kitchenette, rehearsal and staging equipment, accessible parking, toilets and showers, and support with technical requirements. There are more than 100 car spaces within the precinct.
Events, classes and Active & Healthy activities are held at the centre, while the spaces can also be booked for community activities, meetings, performances, classes and larger functions. Bookings are available seven days a week within the stated hire window, subject to the venue’s conditions. Hirers need to complete an enquiry, pay in advance and attend an induction, with the induction format depending on the room and event. It suits community groups, organisers, performers, class leaders and families attending scheduled activities. Visitors should check access arrangements before arriving, particularly when attending an event outside standard business hours.
Spot Score
The Spot Score is our composite of five signals — two about the venue's standing with visitors and three about how complete and current this listing is. It is not a visitor rating and not a verdict on the food or the experience. The 4.5 from 258 reviews is Google's visitor rating, shown separately and never altered by us.
