Why it's worth checking out

Ed Hardy Park is a spacious coastal park on The Esplanade in Miami, at the beach end of Kelly Avenue. Its flat grassy areas, shaded trees and picnic facilities make it a practical spot for a relaxed gathering, family outing or day by the water. The park is also close to North Burleigh Beach, with access to a patrolled swimming area and the North Burleigh Surf Lifesaving Club for meals.

Families are well catered for with a boat-themed, sand-based playground featuring swings, slides and climbing areas beneath shade sails. There are undercover picnic shelters, barbecues, tables, drinking water, refill facilities, outdoor showers and public toilets, including a unisex changeroom. A picnic area opposite Kelly Avenue provides a lookout over the beach.

Visitors can use the outdoor gym at the southern end of the park, join fitness activities held in the area or follow the coastal pathway south to additional fitness stations. Walking paths connect the park facilities, and accessible toilets and disabled parking are available at the North Burleigh Surf Lifesaving Club car park. Off-street parking is available along The Esplanade, with onsite parking at the club. Dogs must remain on leash unless otherwise signed and are not permitted in the playground areas. With a 4.8 Google rating from 30 reviews, the park suits families, groups, casual picnics, walkers and anyone looking for an easy beachside space on the Gold Coast.

Spot Score

54

The Spot Score is our composite of five signals — two about the venue's standing with visitors and three about how complete and current this listing is. It is not a visitor rating and not a verdict on the food or the experience. The 4.8 from 30 reviews is Google's visitor rating, shown separately and never altered by us.
