Lex Bell Park

Lex Bell Park is a sports and recreation park on the Isle of Capri in Surfers Paradise, Gold Coast, with space for active outings, family play and relaxed picnics. Its four soccer fields — one large field and three junior-sized fields — sit within surrounding hills that create a natural stadium-style setting.

Around the park’s perimeter are picnic shelters and tables, while two playgrounds offer different equipment. The north-western playground has a double slide, basket swing and spinner beside a tree-lined hill, and the playground at Salerno Street and Hobgen Street includes a swing, spiral slide, flying fox and spring rockers beneath a shade sail. Public toilets are available at the clubhouse.

Parking is available from The Corso, with street parking along Gibraltar Drive and Hobgen Street. A pathway runs around the park’s edge and to the toilet facilities, although there are no paths through the centre of the park. Dogs must be kept on a leash unless otherwise signed and are not allowed in the playground areas.
