Why it's worth checking out

Mariner Shores Resort and Beach Club is a coastal accommodation option in Miami, on the Gold Coast, positioned directly opposite North Burleigh Beach. The setting suits guests who want easy access to the sand while staying close to everyday essentials and local attractions. Miami One Shopping Centre is across the road, with Coles and Aldi supermarkets, a pharmacy, post office, cafés and casual dining, while Burleigh Heads is a short drive away for Burleigh Head National Park, Burleigh Hill, James Street and its mix of boutiques, cafés and restaurants.

The resort is designed around having plenty to do on site. Outdoor facilities include a swimming pool with a children’s wading area, an outdoor heated spa, an 18-hole mini golf course, a tennis and pickleball court with a basketball hoop, lawn bowls, bocce and outdoor chess. There are four BBQ areas for relaxed meals, and beach equipment including boogie boards, umbrellas, cabanas and children’s toys is available to borrow. Indoors, guests can use a heated pool and spa, sauna, steam room and an air-conditioned gym for guests aged 18 and over.

Families have access to a toddler playroom, board games, a games room with air hockey, table tennis, foosball and gaming consoles, plus an on-site theatrette with a complimentary movie night each evening at 7pm. Adults can spend time in the 18+ lounge, which includes a pool table, books and puzzles. Complimentary Wi-Fi is available throughout the resort, and the reception team can assist with borrowing equipment during a stay. The range of shared spaces means guests can balance beach time with activities without needing to leave the property.

With apartments, resort facilities and a location opposite the beach, Mariner Shores is particularly suited to families and couples looking for a self-contained holiday base with entertainment close at hand. It also works for holidaymakers who prefer a quieter coastal pocket while remaining within reach of Burleigh Heads and the wider Gold Coast. Guests should note that neighbouring construction may cause intermittent weekday noise, and an elevator upgrade is scheduled from July to December 2026, with one of the three lifts out of service at a time and possible noise from 8am.

The Spot Score is our composite of five signals — two about the venue's standing with visitors and three about how complete and current this listing is. It is not a visitor rating and not a verdict on the food or the experience. The 4.4 from 436 reviews is Google's visitor rating, shown separately and never altered by us.
