Tarrabora Reserve

Tarrabora Reserve is a scenic natural parkland on the banks of Currumbin Creek in Palm Beach, Gold Coast. It is a place to slow down outdoors, with creek access for swimming, kayaking and walking, plus shaded areas, picnic shelters and tables for relaxed visits.

The reserve’s natural character is a major part of its appeal. Tarrabora Reserve is also the focus of ongoing ecological restoration, supported by local community groups including the Tarrabora Reserve Bushcare Group and Friends of Currumbin. Their volunteer Bushcare work helps protect and improve native plant and animal habitat, adding a strong community dimension to the site.

With toilets, showers and picnic facilities, the reserve suits families, groups and solo visitors looking for time outside. Kayakers, canoeists and stand-up paddle boarders can make use of the creek, while walkers and wildlife watchers can explore the varied vegetation. Dogs are not allowed in the reserve, so visitors should plan accordingly.
