UE Bagels Miami

UE Bagels Miami is a neighbourhood café and bagelry built around handmade bagels, coffee and a full breakfast and lunch menu. Each bagel is made from scratch and prepared fresh daily on the Gold Coast, with the dough boiled and baked for a chewy centre and crisp finish. The menu includes simple options with butter or spreads, more substantial filled bagels, vegan choices and rotating flavours that give regulars a reason to check back.

The Miami menu ranges from the Breaky Bagel, with a choice of bacon, avocado or sausage alongside egg, cheese, rocket and sauces, to more distinctive combinations such as the Italian Cold Cuts Bagel, Brisket Philly Cheese Steak Bagel and Cubano Bagel. The Lox Bagel pairs smoked salmon with cream cheese, red onion and capers, while The Vegan Lox uses pickled carrot and vegan cream cheese. For something different, the Pavlova Bagel combines meringue, cream cheese and a choice of strawberry jam or lemon curd. Weekly cream cheese flavours and daily rotating bagel varieties add an element of change beyond the core menu.

The café is designed as a warm, relaxed place to sit with a meal or coffee, with indoor and outdoor seating and dog-friendly tables at each location. UE Bagels began with owners Emily and Mitch, whose appreciation for bagels grew from living and working in Canada. After returning to Australia during the COVID period, they started as Upwey Eats, a food truck travelling to markets and events and making deliveries during lockdowns. Their first shop opened in Varsity Lakes in November 2022, followed by Palm Beach in September 2023 and Miami in February 2025. The Miami café brings that same fresh-bagel focus to a newer Gold Coast neighbourhood setting, with a growing community of regulars.
